Running update
I had been trying to increase my running time since I am currently running about a 9 1/2 min mile. I am happy with that pace since I have only been running for 5 months and since i have been keeping track of my per min mile I have gone from a 12 1/2 min mile to a 9 1/2 min mile. I realized on Saturday morning that I think I want to focus more on distance now than running faster. I went for a 10K run on Saturday and it felt great. I could have gone further but I didn't want to get too far away and then run out of steam before I got back. Once I was back I realized I could have gone further. Oh well, there will be plenty of other days to run further. My friend Emily and I are going to run the 1/2 marathon next year so I have something to build up to.
