My brother is NOT coming...

I have been looking forward to my brother's arrival on Sunday. His arrival was the impetus to the air pump search as I was going to need to blow up the inflatable mattress. Unfortunately his wife's father is very ill and is going to pass away at any time so they have had to cancel their trip. I'm sure they (my brother, his wife and son) will come for a visit soon. Maybe I can convince them to skip Venice (which is where they were going after visiting here) and go to Austria with us this winter to ski! We shall see. In any event, I'm sad that they aren't coming but my thoughts are with Carrie and her family as they go through a difficult time.
