We're back from vacation

We got back from our vacation last night so you can look forward to hearing about all we did in France and Italy. After being away for two weeks we need time to settle back in at home. We came home to a very cold apartment since it has been cold in Prague and we didn't have the heat on so it took all night for the apartment to heat up to a comfortable temperature. Today we need to unpack and go to the grocery store. The kids ended up eating rice cakes for dinner last night since that is all we had in the cupboards! We have nothing for breakfast so the kids need to wait until the shops open this morning so that I can go out and buy food. I was so good about using everything we had before vacation but I hadn't really considered what we would eat when we got home. I will have to remember that for our next vacation and make sure I leave enough food in the house for two meals. Oh well, the kids don't seem to mind. They are happy to be home and run around the apartment. I think Sofia played with every toy that she had last night. We had a great vacation but it is always nice to come home. I will try to start posting about our vacation tonight.
