Outdoor Seating

The weather over the past week or so has been great. Coinciding with that has been the arrival of outdoor seating outside many restaurants. It has been a bit of a surprise at times because in many cases restaurants don't seem to have a deck or area that would be recognized as a planned area for tables. Many seem to just move a bunch of tables and chairs outside each morning onto whatever sidewalk space they can use in front of the restaurant or pub. Recently I have had a occasions where I would run by a place in the morning and have seen no seating but then later, when taking Watson for his evening walk, I would almost collide with the outdoor dining area that seemingly grew out of the sidewalk during the day. Of course when it's nice out it's enjoyable eating outside but the greater importance of this has dawned on me recently which is that many restaurants and pubs have no air conditioning so during the hot summer days or nights sitting inside would be very uncomfortable. Either way I look forward to taking advantage of these opportunities whenever possible.
